Millard Fuller, the founder and former president of Habitat for Humanity International, said, “For a community to be whole and healthy, it must be based on people's love and concern for each other.”

Orem is not a stop on a journey for me; Orem is the destination. During the past 62 years in this community I’ve celebrated more than four decades of marriage, raised six children, run my own business on State Street, and served my community in countless ways from the Boy Scouts of America to ecclesiastical leadership. I even graduated from Orem High School. Go Tigers! For me, Orem is home.

As I run for city council and if elected, my focus will be simple:

-Create relationships of trust and work together

-Promote public dialogue and community input

-Support Orem City’s employees 

-Build our community through service
